Introduction
Hi! Welcome to the LCRP LCPD website. This topic will give you a bit of information about the faction and what to expect from us as a faction.
From an OOC perspective, the faction is the same as any other server: the main law enforcement agency where the players roleplay as police officers or civilians. Sure, some policies might be different as LCRP is based on the East Coast/New York, but you can expect majority of the LEO roleplay to be same as anywhere else.
There are 2 things that I have put my focus on to set us apart from other communities:
1. The dedication to all things in-character. Joining the PD, promotion ceremonies (big and small), office busywork - all of these things have heavy emphasis in the faction. Everything that can happen in-game, should happen in-game. No script? No problem. Just roleplay it out. e.g. there's no feature to knock on a door. Use the MDC/an admin to figure out who owns the property and PM to have an IC exchange. Maybe he's got a door camera? Those are really popular nowadays and isn't unrealistic. I want YOU to let your imagination go crazy.
Did I mention there are 0 corruption limitations? You can literally do whatever you want. It's all IC. Whatever in-character problems or drama you create are exactly why we are here. What good book have you read where a character goes through 0 problems? If there isn't any conflict, there isn't much of a story, is there?
2. The out of character expectation of being treated like an adult. Roleplay communities band together people from all walks of life. It is my expectation that everyone be an adult and foster a civil environment where people aren't at each others' throats over minor misunderstandings or disagreements.
People in supervisory roles must separate the art from the artist, the character from the player. If you create unnecessary tension between your character and the character of a player who you do not like, you are a detriment to your surroundings. Adults should be able to know when to take a break to cool off and consider the long-term consequences of their actions.
I can promise you that I will never hinder your character's progress even if I don't like you as a player. And I'll do my best to ensure that no one else does either. People can be at odds with each other and still be fantastic storytellers and/or roleplayers.
If any of this sounds up your alley, and I can trust you to be an adult, please consider joining us. I'd love to see what kind of story (or headache for John) you'll come up with.
For those who may be new to roleplay, we're also willing to have you as long as you're willing to accept criticism, feedback and suggestions for improvement. Which is pretty par for the course for being an adult.
Present chief of department,
MrWussWuss a.k.a John Parker

THE GUYS IN CHARGE OF SOMETHING
Here's a little something something about all the people in charge of something.
Me, MrWussWuss. Chief of Department.
TL;DR, the most FTO-training-recruitment oriented mf on any roleplay server. I was Alan Barker on GTAW. Whether that makes you go, "ew, that guy," or, "oh, I know him" is up to you and how you might remember my tenure on GTAW. I will always be an FTO at heart and you'll likely see me doing that on alt(s) on here, too.
I've been a roleplayer for over a decade now from pen and paper to MTA to now this. I don't give a fuck about rank. I don't care about power. All I want is for everyone to have the opportunity to experience the freedom to do whatever the hell they want when roleplaying. Literally everything you do IC, will remain IC. I don't care how much of a nightmare that might create for everyone else. Holy fuck, this officer was caught taking bribes from MS13 and caught snorting crack off hookers' backs on camera?! This officer was found in possession of weapons that were supposed to be criminal evidence?! This whole ass guy's supposed missing wife was found in the same ditch that he dug for their family dog??!! I don't care what it is. If it's IC, it's IC. You will never, ever be punished OOCly for IC stuff. Now, yes, your position in the faction might take a hit if your character gets demoted as a result of his actions, but that's part of your story!
I'm not a political person. You know how on other servers in the past (or present?) you had to get buddy-buddy with someone to make progress or if someone said something maybe not-so-kind about someone, they'd get told on and then ostracized? Yeah, not that guy. If we get along, fantastic. If we don't, I'm still going to work with you. I am perfectly capable of being objective about almost any topic. For instance, my opinion of you doesn't impact whether or not I'll get your unit more vehicles or help put together a policy that helps make your unit more organized. It also doesn't impact your character's progression. Even if you hate me, if your character is putting in work and there's space for him to progress, you're going to progress. If our characters don't get along, that's a different story. I will not punish your character for OOC things.
I know all of this, if you even read all that, isn't written in a super professional manner. I'm just a player like y'all. I just happen to be where I am. Being put in charge of this circus doesn't make me any better than you. It makes me frown that I even have to mention that, but given my experiences in the past I felt that I had to. Anyway, rant over. I have an open door policy. If you got questions, suggestions, critiques, etc, DM me and we can talk.
House. Chief of the Department Adjunct.
Hi, most of you know me but those who don’t, my name is House. I’ve got a ton of experience roleplaying law enforcement as I’ve been doing it for 15 years. Most of that time I’ve been running patrol or doing some sort of administrative position within the pd. I’ve also got experience with special operations, traffic, and training supervisors. I’ve also had the honor of being chief of patrol and chief of department for GTAW’s LC project for the PD there before its closure. Other than that, I am a full time city police officer in the real world, a part time EMT, and I’m in the reserves in the military. I’m married to my beautiful wife, and we have three kids. Feel free to come to me with questions, or if you need help. I’ll be more than happy to assist.
bunting. Chief of Special Operations.
um. idk.
oksam. Chief of Patrol.
Most know me as Zachary Metzger on W, and Samuel Oswyn on W's LCPD. I'm passionate to create something different for once, the LS formula has been used and abused for far too long. I'm a veteran roleplayer, since RCRP on SAMP in 2012. Now 27, working as a NC law enforcement officer, I still find GTA roleplay fun and engaging. I've done everything from detectives to SWAT/SEB, even time in traffic, and tons of paperwork... which I'm quite burntout with.
Those who know me hopefully understand that first and foremost, I'm just a dude playing a video game. I often tell new members two very easy lines that can be applied to every situation they approach: "Roleplay with those who want to roleplay with you." as well as "We're all just kids playing a video game."
I'll always fight for the membership and remain approachable no matter my position, I will always give guidance and the tools for members to succeed. I hope to help create a fun, engaging enviornment and community through the development of this faction where we all feel equally relevant and always have the ability to have fun.
